Donald Trump is expected to meet with Lebanese and Israeli ambassadors in what could be a crucial move by the president towards extending the ceasefire between both countries. The meeting comes after the change in venue at the eleventh hour as a way of showing the significance of the issue as far as the Trump administration is concerned. As much as the Trump administration sees this ceasefire as different from the rest of the fight with Iran, the Islamic Republic insists that this is integral to reaching any sort of regional deal. Trump is already celebrating this ceasefire as one of his major achievements in foreign policy, although he may still be dealing with some issues with Israel in southern Lebanon.
